The company designs, builds, and sells a range of homes, including detached single-family houses and attached products, serving buyers from first-time homeowners to move-up households and active lifestyle customers. Its communities are typically positioned in suburban and master-planned locations where population growth, job creation, and household formation support demand for new housing.
The company operates through regional homebuilding segments that cover the East, Central, and West areas of the United States, as well as a Financial Services segment. Its homebuilding operations include land acquisition, community planning, construction, sales, and customer service. The Financial Services business supports the homebuying process through mortgage, title, and related services, helping Taylor Morrison capture more of the transaction around a home sale.
