Vodafone Has Starting Taking Orders For Its New Gigafast Broadband Service

Vodafone is all set to offer its new Gigafast Broadband service. CityFibre has joined hands with Vodafone for local implementation of the full-fiber network for the people of North Bournemouth. As per the statement from Vodafone, the new Gigafast Broadband service is expected to significantly upgrade the speed as well as the reliability of the internet connection. Officials at Vodafone have been reported to have said that the speed difference will be considerable for even an average user.

Connections Will Be Laid In November

While the connections will be laid out in the month of November, Vodafone has started taking orders from homes and businesses alike. Vodafone has already made an announcement and requested the interested individuals or networks to apply for the connection upgrade immediately to avoid excessive waiting times in the future.

Compared to the average broadband services in the United Kingdom, Vodafone has pledged to provide as high as 125 times faster uploads and 16 times faster downloads with its new Gigafast Broadband service. There’s news of three different monthly packages being introduced by Vodafone with the new service, offering speeds of 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps, and 900 Mbps. The charges are expected to start at 28 pounds/month.

Vodafone has further claimed that the new broadband service will enable multiple family members to simultaneously indulge in speed-intensive tasks on the internet such as that of streaming their favorite TV shows, playing online games, or uploading media via different smart devices. With the new service, users will never have to face the frustration of buffering times, excessive lagging, or occasional dropouts anymore, as per the Vodafone representatives.

On the other hand, the Vodafone Gigafast Broadband service opens new horizons for businesses to effectively employ more advanced digital strategies for brand recognition over the internet. It will also help enhance productivity and efficient response to customer requirements.

Bournemouth Will Be The First Town To Receive The New Broadband Service

As of March 2019, Vodafone has declared the names of only 12 towns that will be the pioneers of receiving the Gigafast Broadband service with Bournemouth being a prominent name. The residents of Ensbury Park, Moordown, and East and West Howe in Bournemouth can now place an order for the faster, more reliable broadband service by Vodafone. This puts them in the 8 percent of the lucky users who would be able to experience the new Vodafone Broadband service before the rest of the country.

Vodafone in coalition with CityFibre will begin laying down the connections for the received orders with the start of November.
