Samsung is planning on introducing its new devices on February 11th in San Francisco, running a new wave of excitement among the Samsung users. The tech company is also expected to reveal its latest foldable phone and the new S model.

As per Samsung representatives, the company wishes to keep its leading position in the niche of the 5G market and foldable phones. By being the pioneer of revealing such devices on February 11th, the South Korean multinational smartphone manufacturer is expected to keep its reputation as its competitors plan on following its footsteps.

Samsung Representative Says That The Launch Ceremony Will Be Streamed Live

Viewers will be able to tune in to the February 11th launch ceremony as a rep from Samsung highlighted that it will be live-streamed. The event will go live at 11 am Pacific Time and will set the direction for what the smartphone world will have up its sleeve in the new decade.

Teasers are already giving potential users a sneak peek into what to expect from Samsung on February 11th. So far, the images suggest two new devices, one in the form of a rectangle while the one leaning more towards squarish.

Samsung has already unveiled its foldable phones concepts towards the end of the last year. Two concept models were revealed with one looking like a successor of the old flip phones as it folded vertically. Later on, after fixing the screen related issues, the company had also revealed a concept phone that could fold horizontally.

Traditionally, Samsung is known to reveal the latest version of its flagship Galaxy S series ahead of Mobile World Congress that is scheduled around February each year. 2020, however, is likely to be an exception as the South Korean phone manufacturer will reveal the all-new Galaxy S11 in the congress as well.

Samsung Has Refrained From Giving An Official Statement About What To Expect

Samsung, however, has refrained from making an official statement that highlights what is to be revealed on February 11th at this stage.

Ahead of the Congress, Samsung’s stock was seen gaining in the stock market on Monday. Having opened at 54,900 KRW, the stock was seen trading as high as 55,600 later in the day. At the time of writing, share prices are settling around this daily high. Samsung’s performance in the stock market remained upbeat in 2019. The $368.89 billion company was trading at 38,750 KRW in January 2019.
