Its been a rough couple of weeks for cryptocurrency trading platform, Bitcoin Trader and the Dragons’ Den TV Show. Allegations were thrown about and lawsuits filed regarding a Bitcoin fraud that reportedly involved BBC’s Dragons’ Den celebrities.

After digging into the matter, we unveiled the truth about a scandal that has not only bruised reputations but also led to the loss of millions of pounds by unsuspecting investors.

The Dragons’ Den Show

Dragons’ Den is a British TV Programme hosted by Evan Davis, an economist and journalist. The show’s format originates from a Japanese program, Money Tigers, aired between 2001 and 2004.

Since its inception in 2005, the program has been produced by BBC and has seen millions of entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to potential investors, popularly referred to as dragon investors.

Now, you may be wondering how such a popular show’s name ended up being dragged into one of the UK’s biggest Bitcoin scams. Not long ago, it emerged that the Dragons’ Den stars endorsed Bitcoin Trader and by extension, the show. But the celebrities came out to condemn the allegations, terming them as “baseless and fake”.

The dragons promised a fierce court battle as they fought hard to clear their names from the multi-million-pound scandal.

About Bitcoin Trader

In its simplest, Bitcoin Trader is a platform that helps investors make money trading cryptocurrencies with minimal effort. The system features robots that automatically buy digital currencies such as Bitcoin at low prices and sell when the prices are high.

According to Bitcoin Trader, its user base spans over 150 countries while its transaction win rate stands at 96%.

As far as we could tell, the platform’s officials are yet to publicly issue a statement either acknowledging or denying using the Dragon’s Den stars’ names to deceive the public into believing the TV personalities endorsed their platform.

It is also important to mention that across all its platforms, Bitcoin Trader never at one time published or advertised the supposed scam. So until the platform issues an official statement, we’d be careful not to rush into passing any unfounded judgements.

What did Dragon’s Den stars have to say?

Celebrities have an image to protect, and the last thing any of them would want is to taint an image they’ve worked so hard to build. When the scam occurred, the involved dragons took to their social media accounts to warn their followers against falling prey of the scam.

While the warnings were very helpful, sadly, thousands had already lost their hard-earned money. This came a time when a last year crypto scam report indicated a surge in digital currency-related frauds.

Why is the scam all over the media?

Well, your guess is as good as ours – gluttonous internet marketers, bloggers, and related groups wouldn’t miss an opportunity to mint some money off a “juicy” situation, would they?

And don’t get this the wrong way; like several other sites, we like to believe that factual information is our readers’ right. But the misgivings by most online entrepreneurs were simply outrageous, with some reporting having verified the Dragon’s Den stars’ endorsement of Bitcoin Trader.

Lucky enough, you all know the drill: Due diligence is KING. There is no other way to put it across. Research,  read reviews and validate before spending your life savings on investment X.
