Tesla to start deliveries of 2 more variants of its China-manufactured Model 3 sedan

Tesla to start deliveries for the rear-wheel variant of China-manufactured Model 3 sedan in June.
Deliveries for locally manufactured performance variant of Model 3 will start in Q1 of 2021.
The U.S electric car manufacturer sold a record-high 10,160 vehicles in China in March.

In a statement on Friday, Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) said that 2 more variants of its locally manufactured Model 3 sedan are now available for sale in China. All of its Model 3 vehicles sold in China, the U.S electric car manufacturer added, are now manufactured locally at the Shanghai factory and are exempted from import tax.
