Imagine losing all your saved-up cash to scammers masquerading as your favourite celebrities. You wouldn’t see that coming, would you? Especially not when they are using a replica of the person’s social media account and forged video and written testimony. But if you’d figure it out, luck for you.

However, not everyone was fortunate enough when various ads and publications starting circulating the internet, alleging that this or that celebrity had endorsed and invested in Bitcoin trading robots.

We’ve decided to thoroughly review all the available information on claims of actor James McAvoy’s alleged investment in Bitcoin Revolution, to verify the authenticity of the news that is said to have misled the TV icon’s fans into placing their money in a sham project.

Below is what we gathered.

About James McAvoy: Who exactly is he?

Born on 21 April 1979, James McAvoy is a Scottish actor who began his career in 1995 in the movie The Near Room. But McAvoy’s biggest break came in 2003 when he started making more frequent TV appearances. Some of his notable television works include the science fiction miniseries Frank Herbert's Children of Dune and the thriller State of Play.

McAvoy has been involved in multiple West End productions, earning him three times nominations for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor.

The movie star’s business interests are not in the public domain but he’s believed to be one to live both a frugal and lavish lifestyle at the same time. According to sources, McAvoy owns a £178k apartment in North London as well as one at the Centre of Glasgow. At the same time, the star has been spotted a couple of time rocking a 10-year old £1,000 Nissan Micra.

James McAvoy is reportedly worth £11 million.

What is Bitcoin Revolution?

Bitcoin Revolution is an automatic Bitcoin trading application that affords investors the comfort of investing in the crypto markets without their active involvement. From the name itself, the app has changed the way Bitcoin has been traded for years.

Thanks to its built-in algorithm, all investors have to do is register on the platform, deposit a minimum of £200, and click on ‘auto-trade’ to start trading. The bot will then search the market for proper timings on buying, holding, and selling Bitcoin, and deposit profits thereof to user accounts. The app is said to feature a 99.4% accuracy level on all its trades.

Has James McAvoy invested in Bitcoin Revolution?

News about McAvoy’s investment and endorsement of Bitcoin Revolution started spreading on Facebook and YouTube a few weeks ago. A couple of news sites claimed the star had invested on the platform and was already reaping decent returns. However, we could not find any authentic source that would substantiate those claims.

Since McAvoy is yet to confirm the claims and Bitcoin Revolution has also been mum about it, we concluded that the news was malicious, and meant to mislead the public.

Why all the media craze?

The endorsement rumours have been circulating in almost all media platforms. We noticed that some internet bloggers were out to drive traffic to their sites to boost their revenues while benefiting from click-through commissions from the ads they had put out.

Several affiliate marketers also used celebrity names to boost their signup commissions for leading people to register on the trading apps.

But the worst of them all were those that created fake versions of the trading tool to mislead people into investing in non-existent platforms. Bitcoin Revolution has recorded several cases of duplicate sites, but the matter is said to have been taken up by the authorities.

Is Bitcoin Revolution legit?

We realize how hard it is to place your trust in any Bitcoin trader considering the level of fraud that has been going on in the crypto space. Bitcoin Revolution claims to be among the most trusted Bitcoin trading tools and offers returns of up to 20% each day. But how true is that?

In our review, we talk about the app’s legitimacy and functionality, while setting the record straight on whether or not it should be trusted. Check out our full review of Bitcoin Revolution here.
