  • Google waives ad serving fees for news organizations for five months.
  • The U.S tech giant is exploring further ways to help news organizations financially.
  • Facebook announced £80 million worth of financing for news organizations in March.

In its announcement on Friday, Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) said that it will no longer be charging news publishers the small fee for ads in the upcoming 5 months. The fee lets news publishers decide the advertisements that they would like to display on their online properties.
