One would imagine Bitcoin scammers would shy away from messing around with billionaires, yet it would seem no one is out of bounds for these con-artists.

In our latest series of investigative posts on Bitcoin scams, we unveil the truth on whether Amazon billionaire founder and CEO Jeff Bezos endorsed Bitcoin Revolution as alleged by some news sites.

Our investigative journalists conducted on the matter in-depth research and below are the findings.

About Jeff Bezos

Jeffrey Preston Bezos is an American media proprietor, investor, and businessman. Best known as the founder and CEO of eCommerce giant, Amazon, Bezos is the first centi-billionaire on the Forbes Wealth Index.

For the third year in arow, Bezos has been ranked the richest man on earth and the "richest man in modern history", with an estimated net worth of over £110 billion.

The tycoon who graduated from Princeton University with an electrical engineering and computer science, was born in Albuquerque and raised in Houston and later Miami. Bezos’s business interests span real estate, media, logistics, among others.

Bitcoin Revolution

Up until 2017, it was not possible to trade in the Bitcoin market without your active involvement including market research, placing buys, holds, and more. But thanks to new tech, you can now sit back and watch your money multiply.

Bitcoin Revolution represents one of the newest forms of tech that makes it possible to engage in auto-trading. This means that an investor can deposit funds in their account and engage the ‘auto-trade’ feature and let the robot do the rest. Bitcoin Revolution assures its users that their bot is made with a trading accuracy of 99.4%, making it easy to make money than lose it.

Did Bezos invest in Bitcoin Revolution?

Bezos is a public figure and if he had invested in a not-so-conventional space, the news would have 'broken the internet'. Since he has not expressly stated his interest in Bitcoin or crypto robots, we are confident that the news about him embracing the trading tool was nothing but a bad rumour.

Why all the media buzz?

As earlier indicated, Bezos did not invest in Bitcoin Revolution, and he certainly never embraced it. It, therefore, means that the ads doing rounds online with endorsement claims are spreading fake news.

We checked the sources of the rumours and most of them led to shady sites known to publish fake and gossip news. The owners are believed to have been out to make some quick money through click-through and referral programs for the ads and the trading platforms respectfully.

Investors are advised to carefully evaluate their news sources to avoid consuming fake content.

Is Bitcoin Revolution a Scam?

The fact that Bitcoin Revolution has been mentioned in various Bitcoin scams doesn’t automatically make it a fraudulent platform. Just like in the case of Bezos, there is a chance the site was used by cons to perpetrate fraud.

We’ve conducted a full review of the app, to try and piece its operations together so that you can make up your mind yourself.
