The article, published two days ago, on June 6th, revealed that the US Pentagon created a game in 2018 that uses Bitcoin, and rewards people for starting rebellions.

The game, known as 2018 Joint Land, Air, and Sea Strategic Special Program (JLASS) offers rewards in BTC to Generation Z for starting ‘Zbellions.’

In the game, the players are set in a fictional version of the United States in the 2020s. They are then instructed to target various financial institutions, corporations, political organizations, and even non-profit organizations. The goal is to support the establishment of cryptocurrency, which they receive as a reward if they succeed.

The document that was shared reveals that “Zbellion’ uses software to ‘route any proceeds into laundering programs that ultimately convert national currencies into Bitcoin.

Interestingly enough, the war game was supposedly created in 2018. This was before the COVID-19 pandemic, or the growing authoritarianism of Donald Trump. Even so, the game’s story remarkably resembles the current events, where all of the recent incidents started pushing more and more people towards the crypto industry.

The game also says that the government is providing false and misleading information to the people, which has a goal to create mistrust and confusion among the citizens. Meanwhile, citizens are losing faith in information networks, which accurately describes Trump’s attempts to hide the truth through the use of social media.

Zbellion also mirrors the current rallies and protests. The ones taking place in the real world started after US citizens started demanding justice for the unjust police murder of George Floyd. Meanwhile, the ones in the JLASS game have the goal of exposing corruption and injustice.

While the game predicts that Gen-Z will make a move towards Bitcoin, in reality, people of all ages started putting more faith into the decentralized financial industry than the centralized one. Bitcoin is still far from mainstream adoption, but protestors are known for using it as a tool against financial institutions.
