Cryptocurrency finally in the NFL as Grayscale partners with New York Giants

The world's largest cryptocurrency asset management, Grayscale Investments, has partnered with the NFL side, New York Giants. Michael Sonnenshein, the Grayscale Chief Executive Officer, has announced.

In a statement, Sonnenshein opined that the New York metro area is the home to both partners. Thus the deal aligns with their commitment to work as a team on philanthropic initiatives to continue giving back to the community.

Entering their 97th season of play this fall and eight championships to its name, New York Giants is a cornerstone franchise of the National Football League. Their most memorable moment in history is the victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. Also, it's the side in the NFL with a Super Bowl victory in each decade in the last 40 years.

Since 1993, the franchise runs Giants Foundation that tackles essential community issues, such as improving overall community health and empowering youths. It operates in the tri-state area that hosts Grayscale Headquarters.

Grayscale will now be the Official Digital Currency Asset Management Partner of the New York Giants. That means it's now the Presenting Sponsor of The Giants Foundation Golf Outing. Also, the management giant is the Presenting Home Game Sponsor, as well as the sponsor of the Giants Training Camp.

On his part, New York Giants Chief Commercial Officer Pete Guelli praised Grayscale as the best partner to hold their hand into the cryptocurrency ecosystem. He said,
