Theta Network (THETA/USD) has inked an exclusive global partnership with ONE Championship, Asia’s leading sports media property. One Championship unveiled this news through a press release on August 13, noting that this deal involves rolling out a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace. Reportedly, the platform will comprise collectibles that celebrate ONE’s superstar athletes and their most notable moments.
According to the news release, the companies will announce the launch of the NFT marketplace later. However, fans interested in the first-ever release of limited-edition NFT packs can pre-register at ONE.ThetaDrop.com. Fans that secure the highest number of NFTs will get an opportunity to own a piece of ONE’s history. Additionally, they will gain access to real-world benefits, including backstage passes, ringside seats, among other personalized fan experiences.
Commenting on this partnership, Chatri Sityodtong, the founder and CEO of Group ONE said this collaboration is part of the organization’s long-term vision of improving fan engagement. He added that fan engagement and commerce around ONE’s World Champions coupled with ONE’s dedication to heroes, values, and stories will transform live sports entertainment.

He further noted that this is just the beginning of Theta’s massive growth and global adoption, adding more strategic partnerships with upcoming brands on the way. Reportedly, the joint venture with ONE Championship furthers Theta Network’s strategy of merging live entertainment with digital collectible NFTs.
