Kin launches new apps, games, marketplaces in Solana NFT space

Kin, a decentralized cryptocurrency purposely designed to integrate easily across mobile and web apps, has added NFTs to help apps and brands drive consumer engagement. Now, the Kin Ecosystem hosts a vibrant array of NFT initiatives and projects, all of which contribute to a giant tokenized economy, Invezz learned from a press release.

Kin harnessing latest NFT developments to increase value

Brands and developers within the Kin Ecosystem are using developments around NFTs within Web 3.0 to increase the value of Kin’s cryptocurrency. Holders have more ways to earn and spend their tokens.

Kin facilitates first play-to-earn NFT RPG game on Solana

Kreechures is the first generative collectible NFT RPG (role-playing game) ever minted on Solana (SOL/USD). Players who hold NFTs monsters can earn KIN in the game. The novel NFT experience makes all kinds of activities possible. For example, holders can play with their very own Kreechure, compete with other players, train and progress them, all the while earning KIN.

Introducing the first KIN-powered NFT marketplace

Shiny is a new app that lets users exchange, buy, and sell Solana NFTs using the Kin cryptocurrency. It will allow the Kin Ecosystem of apps, developers, and brands to reward audiences and interact with NFTs using one and the same currency.

This opens up a whole new world of opportunity to explore NFTs. While still in its early stages, Shiny will be released at the beginning of next year.

Other developments

Pop.in is planning new NFTs and updates with Kin. Kin and Madlipz are working together to bridge NFTs and meme culture. Finally, bisport.in is targeting the Indian market with a unique new sports NFT platform. It will be using Kin as an in-app currency for earning and spending rewards.
