  • Over 1 million active VeVe users now fully own their carbon-neutral assets and trade with zero gas fees
  • VeVe's grants to environmental causes and nonprofits exceed $7 million
  • Through VeVe, ECOMI offers users a one stop digital collectibles shop with premium NFTs

Singapore-based technology company ECOMI has integrated its digital collectibles marketplace, which is based on the VeVe app, into Immutable X (IMX/USD), the first layer 2 (L2) solution for Ethereum focused on scaling NFTs without compromising decentralization, Invezz learned from a press release.

Following the integration, more than 2.6 million premium licensed NFTs moved to Ethereum (ETH/USD). This enabled over 1 million active VeVe users to fully own their carbon-neutral assets and trade with zero gas fees.

Immutable X allows instant transactions and gasless NFT trades

Immutable X an L2 solution that’s compatible with Ethereum because it is built on top of StarkWare’s bleeding edge zero-knowledge proof technology. It enables users to enjoy massive scalability, instant transactions, and gasless NFT trades with high-quality collectibles from Disney, Warner Bros, Marvel, Cartoon Network, DC Comics, Ghostbusters, and other leading companies.

Improving carbon impact

VeVe is also making great effort to improve their carbon impact. Their grants to environmental causes and nonprofits exceed $7 million. All NFTs minted and traded on the VeVe marketplace will be fully carbon-neutral as Immutable X’s protocol reduces computing energy.

Robbie Ferguson, co-founder of Immutable X, stated:

Dan Crothers, COO and co-founder of ECOMI, added:

VeVe is a one stop digital collectibles shop

Through VeVe, ECOMI offers users a one stop digital collectibles shop with premium NFTs. They collaborate with creators in entertainment, pop culture, and modern art as well as major brands. Users buy digital collectibles, which they can showcase in virtual showrooms or sell on VeVe’s secondary marketplace.
