Bybit users can buy and sell Tether P2P starting today

Bybit has enabled peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions to help easier on- and off-ramp access, Invezz learned from a press release. The world’s fastest growing cryptocurrency exchange has taken trading to the next level in this way.

Starting today, Jan. 18, 2022, members of the Bybit community can transact in Tether (USDT). They can buy it from or sell it to other users without fees, easily and securely, on the Bybit website. Bybit will launch an app version soon.

Almost 100 payment methods

Bybit’s P2P platform offers more than 80 different payment methods, including nine fiat options. These include the Australian, Hong Kong, and New Taiwan dollars, Indian rupee, Malaysian ringgit, Philippine peso, Russian ruble, the Ukrainian hryvnia, and the Vietnamese dong. More are coming up soon.

P2P transactions: what to expect

The exchange’s P2P transactions are undeniably the best way to trade crypto while increasing user control over crypto to fiat conversion and vice versa. All of this takes place in a completely secure environment.

Confirmation from both sides ensures safety

After the buyer completes their order, the seller’s crypto is held in a temporary deposit pending confirmation from both parties of the transaction’s success. Eligible users will be able to personalize their offers according to their local currency and preferred price and payment method via an ad posting feature.
