Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta suffered downtime over the weekend as the network encountered a sequencer glitch.

The outage, which only affected Polygon zkEVM and not Polygon CDK or PoS, arose from a sequencing issue due to a layer1 reorganization.

Meanwhile, the latest updates show the platform has resumed operations after an emergency fix.

The team activated the emergency alert to address system problems impacting layer1 settlement. Nonetheless, the team has lifted the emergence state, and any further updates remain subject to a ten-day timeframe before execution.

Further, the team will provide a comprehensive post-mortem breakdown next week.

“We will follow up with a detailed post-mortem on the @oxPolygonFdn forum early next week.”

That aims to ensure transparency into Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta’s ongoing events, offering stakeholders details about the platform’s operations and upcoming developments.
