- Official Trump product buyers will get TRUMP token airdrop.
- The TRUMP token value has dropped 77% since launch.
- The memecoin is accepted for payment on Trump sites and on Travala.
GetTrumpMemes, the official website for the Trump Meme, has announced that those who purchased Official Trump products from the Official Trump stores before February 15 are eligible for Official TRUMP tokens airdrop.
The products that qualify for this airdrop include Trump-branded watches, fragrances, sneakers, and digital collectible cards.
Under the airdrop scheme, each eligible buyer, regardless of how many products they purchased, will receive three TRUMP tokens and the buyers have until March 1 to claim their tokens.
The airdrop is not only a thank you to the supporters but also a strategic move to integrate cryptocurrency into Trump’s commercial ecosystem.
Official Trump token utility and market acceptance

The meme coin has been accepted as a payment method for products on several Trump-branded websites like GetTrumpWatches.com, GetTrumpFragrances.com, and GetTrumpSneakers.com.
Beyond retail, the travel booking platform Travala has also embraced the meme coin, showcasing its expanding utility outside of the Trump merchandise sphere.
This expansion into real-world applications could potentially drive demand for the token, although its success in this regard remains to be seen.
Bears currently in control: TRUMP price down 77%
Copy link to sectionSince its launch, the TRUMP token has experienced significant volatility.
It initially soared to a fully diluted valuation of $75 billion, reflecting the high enthusiasm and speculative interest around Trump’s digital currency venture.
However, this peak was short-lived. The token has since plummeted over 77% from its highest point, with the most recent data showing it trading at around $16.50, marking a 63% drop over the past month.
This drastic price movement underscores the speculative nature of meme coins, particularly those tied to high-profile individuals like Donald Trump.
However, it’s worth noting that 80% of the TRUMP token supply is controlled by entities affiliated with The Trump Organization although a disclaimer on the official site clarifies, “This product is not distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals.”
Notably, the disclaimer serves to distance Trump personally and his official business ventures from the direct operations of the cryptocurrency even though President Trump confirmed he participated in launching it, highlighting the complexities of celebrity and politics intersecting with the volatile world of cryptocurrencies.
Despite the token’s significant price fluctuations, the airdrop campaign by GetTrumpMemes might be seen as an attempt to stabilize or at least expand its utility, though the volatile nature of such assets always carries inherent risks for investors and users alike.
