Prime Blockchain, a leading digital asset mining and infrastructure provider, has appointed former Goldman Sachs VP Gaurav Budhrani Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Alan Konevsky, former Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, was appointed Chief Legal Officer (CLO).

PrimeBlock expects substantial mining gains

In 2021, the US’ share of Bitcoin (BTC/USD) hash rate doubled to 35.4%. PrimeBlock is committed to substantial growth of their mining operations across and beyond North America. The company’s current hashing capacity is around 1,000 PH/s, equivalent to around 0.6% of the total global Bitcoin hash rate.

PrimeBlock’s new CEO Gaurav Budhrani most recently led Crypto Investment Banking coverage at Goldman Sachs. He has completed over $300 billion of transactions in cryptocurrencies, software, semiconductors, and energy, including the direct listing for Coinbase, which was worth $98 billion. He said:
