Polygon price forecast: how far can MATIC go after Disney collaboration

Polygon (MATIC/USD) is an Ethereum scaling infrastructure solution aimed at giving developers access to an easier way through which they can develop custom solutions.

One of its key components is the Polygon SDK, and through the usage of Polygon, users can create optimistic rollup chains, ZK rollup chains, and stand-alone chains.

The Disney Accelerator Program's participation as a catalyst for growth

The Layer2- scaling platform, Polygon, has been selected to essentially participate in Disney's Accelerator Program, where it will utilize Polygon's Web3 technology.

According to a statement by The Walt Disney Company, published on July 13, 2022, Polygon is one of six projects selected to be accepted into the program, which is focused on augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Furthermore, the CEO of Polygon, Ryan Wyatt, said that Polygon was "the only blockchain selected" for Disney's Accelerator program.

This led to an increased interest in the MATIC token, as well as an increase in its overall value.
