Lagrange (LA)

The project’s core products include a ZK Prover Network, a ZK Coprocessor and State Committee technology. Together, these tools address different parts of the modular blockchain stack. The prover network supplies distributed proof generation capacity, while the coprocessor enables applications to run computations over on-chain data and produce proofs that the results are correct. For example, an application can specify Ethereum storage slots and a block range, run an aggregation such as a price average, and receive a proof covering both the data inclusion and the computation.

Lagrange positions itself as an “infinite proving layer” for a market in which ZK rollups, cross-chain messaging systems and data-heavy decentralised applications increasingly need reliable proof generation. This matters because proof production can be technically complex and computationally expensive, especially when applications require high throughput or frequent verification.

By offering a production-oriented prover network operated with participation from major crypto infrastructure companies, Lagrange aims to reduce the operational burden on developers and make ZK-based systems easier to deploy. Its role is therefore less about serving as a consumer-facing blockchain and more about providing backend cryptographic infrastructure for the next generation of scalable, verifiable Web3 applications.
