The business is organised around three main segments: Pharma, Beauty and Closures. Its Pharma division is the group’s most important profit contributor and supplies specialised delivery systems and components for nasal sprays, inhaled medicines, injectable drugs, eye care products and other regulated healthcare applications. This gives Aptar exposure to long product cycles, strict quality requirements and demand linked to drug delivery innovation.

Aptar’s Beauty operations focus on fragrance pumps, lotion dispensers, aerosol valves and other dispensing formats used by cosmetics and personal care brands. The Closures segment provides dispensing caps and closure solutions for categories such as food, beverage, home care and consumer health. Across these markets, the company competes on engineering know-how, product safety, design, sustainability and the ability to manufacture at scale for global customers.

Aptar has a broad international footprint, with Europe and the United States representing its largest sales regions and additional exposure to China and other markets. Its role in the supply chain is often highly specialised: the packaging must protect product integrity, control dosage or flow, and meet brand and regulatory expectations. That combination of consumer packaging reach and healthcare-focused technology makes Aptar distinct from more commodity-oriented packaging companies.
