Kenvue Inc. (KVUE)
NYSE Market Closed
Kenvue Inc. is a pure-play consumer health company with a portfolio of widely recognised household brands. Formerly the consumer health division of Johnson & Johnson, Kenvue became a separately listed public company in 2023. It operates across everyday healthcare and personal care categories, including pain relief, cough, cold and allergy, oral care, skin health, baby care, face and body care, and women’s health.
The company’s brand portfolio is its main competitive asset. Kenvue markets products under names such as Tylenol, Listerine, Johnson’s, Aveeno and Neutrogena, giving it strong shelf presence in pharmacies, supermarkets, mass retailers and online channels. These brands serve recurring consumer needs, which can make demand more resilient than many discretionary categories, though growth still depends on innovation, pricing, brand investment and retail execution.
Kenvue generates more than $15 billion in annual revenue, making it one of the largest consumer health companies focused solely on this market. Its operations are global, with products sold across developed and emerging markets. The company competes with other consumer goods groups, pharmaceutical companies with over-the-counter portfolios, private-label products and specialist beauty and personal care brands.
As a standalone business, Kenvue is focused on managing mature, trusted brands while pursuing product extensions and category growth. Its separation from Johnson & Johnson gives investors a direct way to follow the performance of consumer health assets that were previously embedded in a much larger healthcare group.
In November 2025, Kenvue announced an agreement to be acquired by Kimberly-Clark, with completion expected in the second half of 2026. Until the transaction closes, the company remains an important listed name in global consumer health.
