Zynga Inc opens pre-registration for its upcoming title FarmVille 3

Pre-registration for FarmVille 3 is now open for players from around the world, Zynga Inc (NASDAQ: ZNGA) revealed in a press release this morning.

Zynga also released a trailer of the upcoming title on Wednesday that revealed tens of new characters and return of the fan favourite farmhand, Marie. 

FarmVille 3 expands on the existing framework and features more than 150 breeds of animals for players to adopt and nurture. In return, they’ll earn unique farm items as rewards to make their in-game career in agriculture more exciting and fruitful. 

To make the experience even more realistic, FarmVille 3 introduces “in-game weather forecast”. Players can now keep an eye on the weather to strategize accordingly for maximum yield.

FarmVille 3 will be available on iOS and Android

According to the press release, FarmVille 3 will be available on several platforms, including iOS, Android, and M1-equiped Apple laptops and desktop devices.

Players who pre-register will be notified as soon as the game officially launches and kept up-to-date with the latest news on the upcoming title until then. They'd also get a “special starter kit” upon launch, including an “early bird profile picture’.

Zynga shares are up 1.0% in premarket trading on Wednesday.
