Nexo, a leading regulated institution for digital assets, has acquired a stake in Texture Capital Holdings Corp., parent company of Texture Capital, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member and SEC-registered broker-dealer, Invezz learned from a press release. The investment is part of Texture Capital’s seed funding round.

Expanding Nexo’s service offerings to institutional investors

The acquisition is part of a global strategy to expand Nexo’s offerings to institutional investors through an extensive range of partnerships that specialize in advanced digital asset investment banking operations. An example is ATS (Texture Capital’s Alternative Trading System) and licensure.

Texture gains potential to improve offerings via DeFi capabilities

The partnership gives Texture Capital the potential to enhance its offerings with advanced DeFi capabilities while yielding opportunities for synergies with Nexo’s premier product suite. This is made possible through Nexo’s extensive blockchain expertise and turnkey solutions for managing crypto assets.

Texture’s marketplace enhances private capital liquidity

Despite being founded only two years ago, Texture Capital offers a blockchain-enabled and regulated marketplace that caters to institutional and accredited investors while enhancing private capital liquidity. They are one of few brokers licensed to issue and trade of Digital Asset Securities. Moreover, they are registered in each US state as well as several US territories.
