Exclusible sells 25 Private Islands on Sandbox for $2.8M

Exclusible, the dynamically growing marketplace for luxury NFTs and upscale metaverse real estate, announced it had sold 25 Private Islands on The Sandbox (SAND/USD) for 910 ether (ETH/USD), equivalent to $2.8 million at time of writing.

eToro was among the buyers  

Global exchange eToro was one of the notable buyers, as were Paris Saint-Germain F.C. star soccer player Marco Verratti, FC Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, former world No. 1 tennis player Ana Ivanovic, and FC Basel Co-Owner and Entrepreneur Dan Holzmann among other prominent public figures.

About the Islands

The islands are near one of the primary Sandbox lands and feature options for helipads, furniture, assets, a private harbor, and more. The last islands left were limited to buyers with at least 1 million followers on social media.

Exclusible sold 150 villas for $1.6M  

The platform also sold all of its 150 villas in The Sandbox’s Exclusible Luxury District. One of the notable buyers was BCG Gamma, which set up a virtual office in the district.

Half of the villas were sold out within 48 hours during presale. The rest sold out within 5 hours during the public sale. The total price was 750 ether, or approximately $1.6 million.
