Introducing UPAP, Wire Network's flagship blockchain protocol

Wire Network has launched Universal Polymorphic Address Protocol (UPAP), the flagship interoperability protocol, Invezz learned from a press release. For the first time, users will have access to a universal, readable wallet address to send and receive NFTs as well as perform crypto swaps across any blockchain.

UPAP is Wire Network's innovative blockchain technology, resulting in an exceptional line-up of products focused on gaming, usability, security, and scalability for dApps and cryptocurrencies. 

The UPAP wallet also offers universal blockchain integration. It's compatible with any blockchain using an ECDSA key pair: Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Wax, Cardano, Algorand, and many more.

All protocols unlocked

The user's only task is to import a mnemonic code from their favourite wallet. This way, they create a universal wallet address, which can unlock protocols representing any blockchain. They can also receive and send Web3 assets just by knowing a recipient's universal wallet address.

The universal wallet's alpha versions can be accessed through Wire's play-to-earn dApp, R4R3, Wire's NFT marketplace, and Dragon Spawn. Users will be able to access them via protocol-enabled wallet partners such as MegaMask and TheWallet.
