Floki price jumps after Rice Robotics unveils FLOKI AI robot and RICE airdrop

Floki (FLOKI) is one of the top gaining altcoins during early trading on April 29, surging by more than 9% in the past 24 hours.

The cryptocurrency is also showing notable market activity, with the daily volume skyrocketing 136% to $221 million. 

Per CoinMarketCap, Floki ranks third by 24 hour gains behind Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) and Solayer (SOLAYER).

Other tokens recording notable price movements are Nexo (NEXO), DeepBook Protocol (DEEP), Story (IP) and Flare (FLR).

Floki price gains

The price of FLOKI hovered at $0.00008467 at the time of writing, having touched intraday highs of $0.00009044.

Earlier, bulls saw the memecoin’s value jump from lows of $0.00007517.

Given this upside, FLOKI is now trending among biggest crypto movers during the Asian trading session.

Most of the heightened market activity for Floki, however, has come in the past week.

CoinMarketCap data shows the uptick currently has FLOKI price up more than 48% in this time frame.

Indeed, FLOKI’s price has fluctuated higher since decisively breaking above $0.000060 on April 22, 2025.

Why is FLOKI up today?

The gains accelerated last week when the Floki team revealed a major partnership Rice Robotics, an artificial intelligence-powered company backed by Softbank and Nvidia. 

Per the initial announcement, Floki’s collaboration with the AI powerhouse targets integrations that will promote robotics, AI and web3 innovation and adoption.

On Monday, Rice Robotics announced a major development set for FLOKI.

On April 28, 2025, Floki announced Rice Robotics planned to launch the FLOKI minibot M1, an AI-powered companion robot integrated with the RICE AI decentralized protocol.

This robot will assist with daily tasks like managing grocery lists and scheduling, while also offering emotional companionship through storytelling and dancing. 

Additionally, Rice AI will introduce the RICE token via TokenFi Launchpad.

When live, it will enable FLOKI minibot M1 users to earn RICE tokens through engagement.

Floki and TokenFi holders will also benefit from a RICE token airdrop, further incentivizing community participation.

Ecosystem growth 

Floki’s ecosystem continues to drive its utility, with multiple offerings aimed at making the memecoin the ultimate cryptocurrency ecosystem.

It includes the launch of Valhalla metaverse game, Floki University, and various decentralised finance (DeFi) solutions.
