  • The upcoming Bitcoin2020 conference that will take place in late March 2020 recently announced a number of speakers that will make an appearance.
  • One of the speakers is the skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk.
  • Many expect that Tony Hawk's attendance might have a huge impact on crypto adoption in 2020.

A massive Bitcoin conference that will take place in 2020 was announced some time ago. The conference will take place in late March, on the 27th and 28th. While many were already looking forward to it, a recent announcement has likely increased the hype regarding the event by quite a bit.

The announcement in question was posted on Twitter by Bitcoin 2020 account, and it states that the skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk, will attend the conference as well.

The announcement was made two days ago, on October 30th, confirming that the prominent sportsman who has dozens of millions of fans around the world will be one of the speakers at Bitcoin 2020. The implications of this might be huge, as Tony Hawk’s direct involvement could be extremely beneficial for the crypto industry.

As mentioned, he has millions of fans and followers, and his attendance could spread awareness and adoption of Bitcoin in 2020. It still remains unclear what Hawk will be talking about, however, his fans among crypto enthusiasts are extremely excited by the news.

Hawk has already received words of praise and support for his involvement in crypto, and many have confirmed that they will attend to hear him speak of Bitcoin, in person.

While the news about Hawk’s involvement may come as a surprise, he has actually been involved with Bitcoin for a long time. In fact, he admitted that he had been an investor for about six years now, although he did not share any information regarding how much BTC he HODLs.

Hawk is far from being the only celebrity with interest in crypto, however. Many others have recently come out and admitted their involvement, or at least their interest. One example is Michelle Phan, a well-known Youtuber and businesswoman that runs a multi-million dollar business. Not to mention recent news of Justin Bieber, a music sensation, posting an Instagram story that featured a Ripple logo.
