H.E. Justin Sun, Ambassador of Grenada for the WTO and TRON (TRX/USD) founder, made the winning bid of $28 million for the first seat on Jeff Bezos’ foundation Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket, Invezz learned from a press release. The funds will go to Club for the Future, Blue Origin’s foundation, in turn benefiting 19 space-related charities.

The first blockchain leader to go up to space

Sun will fly on a New Shepard flight with another five people in 2022. With this, he will become the first blockchain leader and international diplomat to go up to space. Blue Origin completed its first human flight on July 20 this year. The organization envisions a future of millions living and working in space for the benefit of Earth.

They made a successful return from suborbital space above a globally recognized space boundary, the Kármán line.

Sea of Stars: where life begins

Part of the initiative involves a campaign called “Sea of Stars”, named after a Chinese idiom conveying that Earth is not where human life ends, but where it starts for future generations. The next true frontier is the vast expanse of the Sea of Stars. Justin Sun will nominate five exceptional people to travel with him up into space in the next months.

Members of TRON DAO community can be nominated

Nominees can also include long-term holders of TRON’s token TRX, BitTorrent (BTT/USD), and other associated cryptocurrencies as well as leaders from the art, fashion, space, entrepreneurship, and tech industries.
