Cardano joins forces with Huawei Cloud to advance Web3 solutions in Asia & Africa

In a move to broaden the network’s reach, Cardano's founding member EMURGO has collaborated with Huawei Cloud, a leading cloud computing platform, to enhance web3 offerings and bolster ADA's growth .

Cardano’s founding member and partner EMURGO confirmed plans to strengthen the blockchain by tapping Huawei’s cloud infrastructure to streamline web3 adoption in Africa and APAC.

According to EMURGO CEO Ken Kodama,

“This collaboration converges the traction of Huawei Cloud’s trusted cloud technology with Cardano's network of blockchain developers & web3 solutions.”

The announcement shows, the collaboration aims to enhance the adoption of Cardano web3 solutions.

EMURGO will launch an ADA validator Node on Huawei’s infrastructure, ultimately fueling growth and web3 adoption throughout Asia Pacific & Africa.

Cardano developers will utilize Huawei’s cloud infrastructure and massive computing resources to create advanced web3 offerings.

Besides joining the widely used Huawei marketplace, the partnership aims to boost the scalability and interoperability of Cardano cloud services.

The Cardano- Huawei collaboration

Huawei Cloud is among the leading cloud computing firms globally, operating under tech giant Huawei.

With the new partnership, EMURGO will integrate Huawei’s cloud services into Cardano’s ecosystem by introducing an ADA validator on Huawei Cloud.

Furthermore, the report highlighted that the alliance represents the initial step towards more partnerships between Huawei and EMURGO. Huawei’s Rex Lei commented,

“This partnership will serve as a springboard for our web3 services and will go a long way to future-proof Huawei Cloud’s business in the long run.”
