ADA spot

Buy ADA. Governance risk is cleared (Constitutional Committee renewal passed), and the ecosystem is getting concrete tooling upgrades (Constitutional Amendment Portal alpha, Daedalus 11.3.0 DRep Directory, updated stake pool scripts). Price is already reclaiming the trend (back above $0.20; CMF positive) with clear upside levels: $0.21 then $0.22–$0.23.

Key Risk: A governance/upgrade delay or new governance controversy reintroduces “risk” and breaks the $0.20 support, sending ADA back toward $0.19.

ADA perpetuals (short squeeze)

Buy ADA exposure via long perps (e.g., ADAUSDT perpetuals on Hyperliquid/Binance). Positioning is net long but with more short liquidation risk above the market; a push through $0.21 can force shorts to close, accelerating the move toward $0.22–$0.23.

Key Risk: Funding flips sharply negative and price stalls under $0.21, trapping longs and triggering liquidation on a pullback.

  • Cardano price rose more than 4% on Sept. 3, pushing above $0.20.
  • Cardano's Constitutional Committee renewal cleared key voting thresholds.
  • A breakout above $0.207 could put $0.217 and $0.229 in focus.

ADA has climbed nearly 4% over the past 24 hours to around $0.206, breaking back above $0.20 as Cardano governance developments and stronger buying pressure supported the move.

Cardano’s Constitutional Committee renewal cleared the required voting thresholds before the Sept. 1 deadline, with DRep support at roughly 69.36% against a 67% requirement and stake pool operator support at roughly 51.18%, just 0.18 percentage points above the 51% threshold.

The result removed a governance risk that had been hanging over Cardano in the final days of August.

The Constitutional Committee forms one part of Cardano’s three-part governance structure alongside delegated representatives and stake pool operators.

Under Cardano’s constitution, committee members assess whether governance actions comply with the constitution before they can be enacted on-chain, except for specific actions that do not require committee approval.

Governance infrastructure has also received several updates as ADA trades back above $0.20.

The Cardano Foundation’s Sept. 2 Community Digest detailed new functionality across the Constitutional Amendment Portal, stake pool operator scripts and Daedalus 11.3.0.

The Constitutional Amendment Portal, which entered alpha testing in August, allows ADA holders to draft proposed changes to the Cardano Constitution, raise constitutional issues and participate in discussions around existing proposals.

Users can connect through a Cardano wallet without creating an account with an email address or password.

Daedalus 11.3.0 has added a DRep Directory that allows users to find representatives and delegate voting power through the wallet.

Updated stake pool operator scripts have also expanded governance voting functions and support for Ledger operations, according to the Cardano Foundation’s Community Digest.

RealFi has added another dated event for the Cardano ecosystem after announcing plans to launch on mainnet on Oct. 1.

The project, which is focused on connecting blockchain liquidity with real-world financial services, reported more than 3,600 participants and over 40,000 completed quest actions during its Pioneer Season and public testnet.

Cardano development has continued ahead of the planned Dijkstra upgrade.

The Plutus Core team released version 1.68.0.0 in August with Plutus V4 ledger API types, although Plutus V4 remains under development and the types could change before Dijkstra.

Work has also continued on new Plutus language features and built-ins.

Derivatives positioning may be adding support to ADA’s recovery.

According to Squeeze-labs data, Cardano’s aggregated open interest across Binance, Bybit and KuCoin stood close to $160 million heading into Sept. 3, while Binance funding remained positive.

Large positions tracked on Hyperliquid were modestly net long ADA.

Recent Hyperliquid positioning also placed more short liquidation exposure above the market than long liquidation exposure below it.

A move through the next resistance area could force some short positions to close, supporting further upside.

ADA price analysis

ADA’s daily chart has recovered above $0.20 after falling from its August peak near $0.25.

Price was around $0.206 at the time of writing, putting it above the nine-day simple moving average at $0.2028.

The nine-day SMA has started curling upwards after declining through the second half of August.

ADA remaining above $0.2028 would keep the price on the upper side of its short-term trend, with $0.208 to $0.21 forming the immediate resistance area.

Chaikin Money Flow on the daily chart has risen to 0.13 and remains comfortably above the zero line.

The indicator measures buying and selling pressure using price and volume, and its current reading means buying pressure has outweighed selling pressure during the measurement period.

CMF has also risen alongside ADA’s return above $0.20, supporting the latest price move.

A daily close above $0.21 would put $0.22 within reach. ADA traded repeatedly around $0.22 to $0.23 during the second half of August, making that area the next resistance zone if buyers clear $0.21. Above $0.23, the August spike near $0.245 would become the next probable target.

The 4-hour chart shows ADA recovering from a recent low close to $0.19 and moving through $0.20 with several consecutive higher candles.

The Commodity Channel Index has jumped to 221.68, far above its +100 level, as the latest price move accelerated.

CCI at that level means ADA is trading well above its recent statistical average.

It confirms strong short-term momentum, but a reading above 200 also raises the possibility that price pauses or pulls back before another attempt at $0.21.

In that case, $0.202 to $0.20 would be the first area to watch.

The 4-hour Average True Range stands at $0.0046 after falling from above $0.01 during ADA’s volatile August move.

ATR has recently flattened close to $0.0045 instead of continuing to fall, while price has climbed back above $0.20.

A rise in ATR as ADA clears $0.21 would mean the breakout is occurring with expanding price ranges.

ADA needs to hold $0.20 for the current breakout structure to remain intact.

A drop below that level would expose $0.195, followed by the recent support around $0.19.

On the upside, a confirmed break above $0.21 would put $0.22 first, followed by $0.225 to $0.23 and then the August high near $0.245.
