BlackBull Markets – a multi-asset broker in New Zealand becomes a licensed stock broker after receiving a derivative issuer by the New Zealand’s financial regulator, the FMA.

BlackBull Markets, the trading name of BlackBull Group Limited, offers different types of trading services – including Forex, CFDs, and commodities.

The trading company was created in 2014 and since operated as a registered (but unlicensed) financial service provider in New Zealand.

The broker has seen rapid growth and has doubled continuously in size annually over the past 4 years. Yet, its newly acquired license is a boost towards ensuring transparency and trust to its retail clients globally and in New Zealand.

During the announcement, Michael Walker, BlackBull Markets’ Director, stated:

We will be providing retail clients both globally and in New Zealand with the opportunity to trade a range of FX, metals, commodities, indexes and also equity CFDs with a fast-growing broker they can trust. In the future, we also have plans to expand our offering to include other options such as stand-alone equities.”

Before it received its license, BlackBull Group Limited was incorporated in New Zealand (NZBN 9429041417799) under the Monetary Service Suppliers Register.

The company is also incorporated and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Seychelles. However, the popular broker has operations in countries like the United Kingdom under BlackBull Group UK Restricted.

During a press release upon the licensing announcement, Walker said:

We now have been working with the Monetary Markets Authority right here in NZ for fairly a while now, whereas our enterprise has continued to develop.”

He added:

With the addition of licensing from the FMA, our shoppers can now relax assured that they’re buying and selling with a regulated dealer in one of many most secure and fastest-growing monetary markets on the planet.”

He concluded,

We have a great team here in Auckland and are focused on strategically growing the business over the coming years to become the leading online financial technology and foreign exchange broker.”

With so much enthusiasm and happiness, BlackBull Head of FX & Metals and General Manager Anish Lal posted on social media:

We have now been licensed from the FMA in New Zealand. This is a big milestone for us. We look forward to offering different services to our local and domestic markets, focusing on premium local support and providing leading conditions for traders. We appreciate key team members and assistants who assisted us in the past 18 months in our application. With your efforts, we have worked to achieve this credible license, affirming our position as one of the largest brokers in New Zealand.”
