
PornHub adds Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) to its payment options
- Porn streaming giant PornHub finally expands its payment method by adding Litecoin and Bitcoin.
- The streaming giant has been accepting Verge cryptocurrency as its payment method since 2018.
- Bitcoin and Litecoin holders can enjoy PornHub’s premium services without having to exchange them with Verge.
It is not the first time that a firm has announced plans that include cryptocurrencies. However, this time the case is quite different, PornHub, 9th most popular streaming service provider around the globe has started accepting Bitcoin and Litecoin as a payment method.
The porn streaming platform has made this announcement 2 years after accepting Verge (XVG/USD) and few other cryptocurrencies. PornHub becomes the first company to start from a smaller cryptocurrency and then expand its payment frame to major cryptocurrencies. This strategy will ultimately fuel more users and growth to PornHub.
As BTC/USD continues towards making progress, it is becoming clear that the world is now looking at its beneficial use cases. Besides, this news is not only important for the Bitcoin proponents, but it is also a pleasant surprise for the LTC/USD community as well.

Canadian headquartered streaming giant has a long history with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. PornHub was launched 1 year before Bitcoin came into being. PornHub has almost 3 billion monthly users and providing them with Bitcoin and Litecoin as payment option will enhances its user experience.
Lastly, Satoshi Nakamoto first voiced his opinion regarding the matter in 2010 on Bitcointalk.
Nakamoto said:
“Bitcoin would be convenient for people who don’t have a credit card or don’t want to use the cards they have, either don’t want the spouse to see it on the bill or don’t trust giving their number to “porn guys”, or afraid of recurring billing.”
