
Dogecoin community backs Elon Musk in bashing the US government

Tesla’s stock has been on a decline after the US government demanded the company to pay $11 in taxes in 2021. While the US government was not happy with getting the massive amount of money from the company, the crypto community was quick to reciprocate the support it got from the American businessman.
According to the crypto community, the US government is overexerting its power considering Elon Musk, who is the CEO of Tesla and Space, paid $11 billion in taxes this year. The Dogecoin developer claimed that the US government has a negative attitude towards the entrepreneur who paid the largest amount of fees in the history of the country.
For instance, Senator Elizabeth Warren claimed Musk is a freeloader, adding that he should start paying taxes. Senator Warren went to the extent of suggesting a change to the tax code. However, Musk made a comeback, claiming that the US government should focus on the fact that he would pay more taxes than any American in 2021.
To express the stress that comes with paying taxes, Musk pointed out that he would be paying more taxes than any American in 2021. He also added that the US government should not spend the amount he pays at once.
Doge community reciprocates Musk’s support
Copy link to sectionThis news comes after Musk fought for the DOGE community on multiple instances. For instance, Musk vowed to work with DOGE developers to help improve the network. On top of this, Musk announced that Tesla would accept Dogecoin (DOGE/USD) as payment for specific merchandise.
He claimed that DOGE would be the best crypto for payment if its developers can increase its Blocksize and block time tenfold and decreases its fee 100X. He also promised to work with DOGE developers to help improve the project.
